Read moreThis two-day acoustic instrument festival in Illinois features workshops, concerts, and vendors in the lovely outdoor setting of a park. My first time at this festival, I've been invited to teach hammered dulcimer and guitar both days, perform in the Saturday concert series, and vend (also on Saturday). For more info see the festival website (https://www.gebharddulcimer.org/) where you can check out this year's performers, workshop schedules will be posted, and lots of helpful information and lodging options. Admission is a suggested donation of $20 for one day or $30 for both. It looks like it will be a great experience with the festival being listed "among TravelMag’s Best Festivals and Fairs in Illinois."
