Always fun, this year at the Evart dulcimer festival was a great experience. It was wonderful to see more people attending once again and there was lots of good music both during the stage show as well as small groups playing together just for the fun of it. I attended some very helpful workshops and the classes I taught were well attended, for the most part. It's a joy to know people were inspired by a song or helped in a class. My set during Thursday night's show went well and the ending number was so much fun with my friends, Pam, Jeff, Don, and Jode joining me in an Evart-inspired rendition of “Give My Regards.” If you missed any of the stage shows, they'll be available on YouTube (probably toward the end of August) and you can search using any performer's name.
